Monthly Therapist Group
Note to self: I am more important than my to-do list 📝
Welcome
You spend your days attending closely to other people, often from a room of your own. Over time, that combination wears a person down. This group is a regular, protected space to say so, with colleagues who understand and will not rush to fix it.
Who this is for if...
Does this sound like you?
→ You miss the company of other therapists
→ You have supervision for your clients, but not much for you
→ You would love to stop doing this alone
→ You would like a regular space just for you
→ You are more tired than you let on
→ You give a lot, and rarely stop to ask what you need
What happens in the group
We meet once a month for 90 minutes online.
→ A small, steady circle Up to 8 therapists, the same faces every month. Because the group is closed, trust builds and you come to know each other properly.
→ A gentle way in Each session opens with a short reflective exercise, so you can land, check in with yourself, and put the day down
→ Room for what is live Open discussion for whatever you bring, whether that is a hard week, a boundary you are struggling to hold, or a decision about your caseload.
→ Peer support, guided by someone who understands Not supervision and not therapy. Your facilitator is a clinician gets it.
What to expect
This is our first 3 month cohort, running across October, November and December 2026. The fee is £70 per session.
Register your interest using the form below and tick every day and time that could work. Groups will run at the times with the most votes. Once times are confirmed, I will email you and offer a 30 minute introductory call, so you know who you are joining and I know what you need.
Hi, I’m Lauren
I ‘m Lauren, BACP accredited psychotherapist based in Ayrshire and the founder of The Burnout Therapist. I specialise in burnout recovery, and I know how easy it is to give a great deal and forget to check in with yourself. I created this group so you can do that alongside people who understand.
Places are limited to keep the group small.
Your details are used only to organise the group and will not be shared.
FAQs
No. It is peer support, guided by a therapist who works with burnout every day and knows how lonely private practice can be. It sits alongside your supervision and personal therapy and does not replace either.
