Meet the Team

  • Charlotte Brierley

Charlotte is a mental health social worker and therapist with over 18 years in community mental health services. As a mother and former Perinatal Champion, she brings both professional expertise and personal understanding to her practice. When she’s not in the therapy room, Charlotte works as a sustainable florist, keeping her grounded and helping her to show up fully for her clients.

Charlotte specialises in OCD using CBT, ERP, ACT, and Inference CBT), phobias, body-focused repetitive behaviours, anxiety and emotional regulation (particularly for ADHD), and neurodivergent-affirming support that validates your experiences without requiring diagnosis.

  • Laura Young

Laura is a CBT therapist living on Scotland's west coast with her husband and two young children. She retrained during COVID after over ten years in supportive roles, bringing both professional skills and personal experience with anxiety to her practice. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, crocheting, and movies with family and friends.

Laura is passionate about helping people break free from anxiety cycles so they can live in the present and enjoy life. She specialises in building self-confidence and resilience, with a growing focus on perinatal mental health. Laura offers online sessions, having experienced firsthand how effective this approach can be during her own training.

  • Kirsty Corvan

Kirsty helps people with chronic health conditions and burnout rebuild their relationship with themselves beyond their diagnosis. If you're tired of that inner critic saying you're not good enough, she’s there to help you embrace self-compassion and build genuine confidence.

Using a down-to-earth relational approach, Kirsty creates a safe space to process medical trauma, understand how chronic illness and burnout interconnect, and develop self-advocacy skills. Her lived experience with chronic pain brings deepened empathy as she help you design a meaningful life that works with your energy limitations. Outside therapy, Kirsty loves spending time with friends and family, reading, cuddling her cats, and listening to Taylor Swift.

  • Becki Massey

Becki was diagnosed with Autism & ADHD in adulthood, and is passionate about helping others who feel misunderstood and exhausted from trying to fit into a world that doesn't make sense to them. With a BSc in Psychology, MSc in Clinical Psychology, and 8 years in NHS therapy services progressing from support worker to High Intensity CBT therapist, she brings both personal and professional insight to her work.

Becki specialises in supporting late/undiagnosed neurodivergent individuals through overwhelm, burnout, and self-doubt, adapting therapy techniques to your unique brain rather than forcing you to fit standard approaches. Her goal is to help you move from hiding who you are to confidently embracing your authentic self. In her spare time, Becki enjoys digital art, video games, music, and relaxing with her cat and dog.

  • Abigail Nelson

Abigail is an HCPC-registered dramatherapist working across two spaces in Edinburgh and online, as well as running creative and nature-based retreats and workshops. She is passionate about giving people the tools to not only express themselves but create deep and lasting change, which she knows through experience can be uniquely done through the arts. In her spare time, Abigail loves getting out in nature with her dog, doing aerial silks, and playing boardgames with loved ones.

Through dramatherapy, Abigail's passion is providing individuals with creative ways to deeply explore and express their identity. She often works with neurodivergent and queer folks, those who have experienced trauma and those facing relationship difficulties. Through a creative, curious and playful approach, dramatherapy utilises the subconscious to discover the many parts of yourself and break deep-seated patterns that no longer serve you.

  • Nicola Kemp

Nicola is a relational therapist who supports women feeling stuck in cycles of over-giving, people-pleasing, and never quite feeling enough. Many of the women she works with are used to putting everyone else first, often leaving little space for their own needs, which can lead to burnout, resentment, and feeling disconnected from themselves. She also supports women navigating challenges in dating and relationships, especially when they question their worth, or tend to give more than they receive.

Nicola’s approach is warm, down-to-earth, and trauma-informed. She gently helps you explore and heal the roots of these patterns whilst supporting you to take gentle steps forward, reconnecting with your voice, building your confidence, and creating more fulfilling relationships. Her approach balances emotional understanding with positive encouragement, helping you connect with your authentic self.

Nicola loves the beach, coffee, and comfy clothes! (Preferably all together!)
